Southwest Black Fine Art Show
The Southwest Black Fine Art Show (SWBFAS) was envisioned to present a quality experience for artists, collectors, galleries, educators, fine art professionals, and anyone interested in fine art. The SWBFAS is committed to the exclusive presentation of original art produced by artists of African and African-American descent. Over 30 artists in the Southwest Black Fine Art Show compete to win cash prizes and the chance to have their work displayed at the African American Museum and other locations in Dallas. The Southwest Black Fine Art Show presents a series of workshops for those interested in becoming collectors. The Show features presentations by seasoned collectors, scholars and gallery owners. In addition, there are hands-on activities for families and children.
