Safety Round-Up presented by Denton Regional Medical Center

Please join Denton Regional Medical Center as we celebrate our designation as Denton County’s only Trauma Center with a fun and educational safety event for the whole family! All chamber members are invited to bring out their families for our sign unveiling and other activities.

Denton Regional Emergency Care Center Parking Lot

• Bicycle Rodeo- An interactive bicycle course with real traffic lights and street signs to teach your little one the rules of the road. Free helmets will be provided to the first 200 attendees! Bring your own bicycle, or use one of ours. Hosted by the Denton Police Department.
• Fire Safety- Join the Denton Fire Department to tour a real fire truck and learn more about fire safety.
• Car Seat Safety- A certified car seat technician from the Denton County Health Department will provide information on proper car seat installation.
• Automobile Safety & Maintenance- Kwik Kar of Denton will provide information on what you should know to keep your car running safely. Learn how to check your tires for wear, when to replace your old windshield wipers, how to properly maintain your car, and more!
•  Disaster Preparedness- Learn more about how to prepare for a disaster, including what items you should keep on hand for an emergency. The Denton County Health Department will also be providing free disaster kits for the first 200 attendees!
