Business community to welcome Superintendent Jamie Wilson
The Denton Chamber of Commerce and Adopt-A-School: Partners in Education are welcoming Dr. Jamie Wilson as the new superintendent for Denton Independent School District. A reception in his honor has been scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Central Services, 1307 North Locust in Denton.
Dr. Wilson was named superintendent by the Board of Trustees in June. He served as deputy superintendent for the past five years. He came to Denton ISD in 2005 as assistant superintendent.
