Morticia and Gomez Addams want to continue living amongst death, pain and suffering, the way they always have. But then there is a change in plans. Their eldest child, Wednesday, has fallen in love with a strange boy, Lucas Beinekes. To the Addams, strange is normal. Happy is Sad. The Addams believe life revolves around death. To Morticia and Gomez’s own complexity, they invite Wednesday’s new boyfriend’s family to their home. Many strange things happen the night that the Beinekes come to visit.

Selections from Addams Fmaily are acceptable, but not preferred.
Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
No prerecorded accompaniment will be allowed.
Dependent on time, the auditions may also include readings from the script.
Please Note: Not all roles will require callback auditions.
Dates, times, and places for callbacks will be provided to those for whom they apply.
Printable audition forms will become available approximately 2 weeks prior to auditions.

Gomez Addams | A man of Spanish descent who takes great pride in his family and revels in all it means to be an “Addams.” He struggles with having to keep his daughter's secret from his wife, whom he adores more than death. Smart, comedic actor with tenor vocals. (Bb2 - G#4) | |
Morticia Addams | Attractive, leggy, the strength of the family. An easy comedic actress with a sexy, dry wit. Feels her husband is hiding something from her and will use any tactic to lure the secret out. A strong dancer/mover with alto/mezzo soprano vocals. (G#3 - Bb5) | |
Fester Addams | The androgynous family member who serves as the musicals narrator. He is larger than life, an energetic, joyous, child-like presence. A vaudeville style comedian with tenor vocals. (C#3 - C#5) | |
Wednesday Addams | An attractive, in shape girl who has the same dry wit and sensibility of her mother. Finds love with a “normal” boy and wants to introduce his family to hers. Experiences the youthful drama that comes with first love. Lucas can actually puts a smile on her face. Strong pop belt vocals. (A#3 - F5) | |
Pugsley Addams | A charming, funny, husky boy who loves being tortured by his sister. He wants to ensure he won’t lose his sister to her new boyfriend so he takes matters into his own hands. Strong, high vocals. Voice not yet changed. (A#3 - F#5) | |
Grandma Addams | She is a feisty 102 year old woman. Fun and quirky, but don’t mess with Grandma. Comedic actress with strong character vocals. (G4 - F5) | |
Mal Beineke | Stuffy father of Lucas and exasperated husband to his rhyming wife. At one time was a follower of The Grateful Dead but has lost that side of himself. Always looking out for his family. Male actor with high baritone/ tenor vocals. (C# to A#) | |
Alice Beineke | Mother of Lucas, devoted to her family so she puts aside her own desires. In shape, quirky female who often speaks in rhyme. Comedic actress with soprano / belt vocals. (Ab3 - G#5) | |
