United Way of Denton County is a powerful movement of volunteers and donors in our community. Across Denton County, a diverse group of passionate and compassionate people LIVE UNITED to improve lives for children, families, veterans, people experiencing homelessness, and people affected by mental illness. For more than 45 years, The Greater Denton Arts Council has supported, promoted, and encouraged the arts in the Greater Denton area. From music, dance, and theater to literature and the visual arts, each year over 550,000 people attend an Arts Council-sponsored event.
