Dewaynna Horn, Ph,D. serves as Associate Dean/Associate Professor of Management at Texas Woman’s University (TWU) in the College of Business where she teaches graduate management courses. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Jackson State University, an MBA from Millsaps College, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Belhaven University. She was previously on faculty in the College of Business at Prairie View A&M University. She worked in management roles in the banking/financial services industry for 14 years. Her research interests include organizational citizenship behavior, leadership, teams, positive job attitudes, wellbeing and e-commerce success. Her research appears in several academic journals and she has presented her work at national and international conferences.
To bridge the gap between theory and practice and to stay current in industry, Dr. Horn coaches women leaders and business owners on the same topics of her research and collaborates with several women-focused business organizations in Houston.
