Free Workshop on Economic Census Data
Starting a small business? Need industry statistics? Want area-specific economic info?
The U.S. Census Bureau, Southern Methodist University, and the University of North Texas invite you to attend a free hands-on workshop covering the newly released 2007 Economic Census data. Offered at two locations, these workshops will cover current Texas economic statistics at the state and county level; whether you are new to census data or are an established user, you are certain to find something useful.
Workshop participants will be given guidance and hands-on opportunities to learn about several aspects of the 2007 Economic Census data release, including:
? expanded data on small business owners
? expanded data on franchising, pensions, & fringe benefits
? geographic coverage
? employer & non-employer data
? product classification, now for all service sectors
? new publication formats
