UPDATE: First Refuge Ministries 6th Annual Gala Canceled (see note from the Executive Director)

Dear Friends,

In an effort to support our city’s officials and best care for our staff, volunteers, donors, and neighbors during the current COVID-19 circumstances, our Executive Board at First Refuge Ministries passed a motion to delay our Fundraising Annual Gala that was scheduled for March 19^th.

We would like to thank everyone for their understanding during this time. We are unsure when the event will be able to be rescheduled, but we will keep you informed as we have the information.

As the risk for COVID-19 in Denton increases, the need for First Refuge Ministries to continue operating as a medical clinic and food pantry will also increase, as there could be more neighbors in need than ever. The cancellation of our fundraising event could hinder the very services our community needs. We trust God and in faith we ask you to consider to make a donation in order for our services to continue by clicking the link below.
