About the speaker: Shay McNuckles
Shay is an emerging leader in the tax industry who has transformed her passion for numbers into a thriving business. Starting as a one-woman operation in 2008, she scaled her brand significantly, training over 60 tax specialists by 2019. A pivotal partnership with Cricket Wireless helped expand her business from one to four locations, allowing her to serve clients across North Texas during the tax season.

Building on her entrepreneurial success, Shay ventured into real estate investment with the founding of J&S Investment Groupe in 2018. Within months, she secured funding to acquire and rehabilitate multiple properties, which she now owns and operates. Her business acumen has been recognized in media features, including Geek Plus Magazine, and she actively mentors young entrepreneurs while funding an annual scholarship for aspiring business students.

Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Shay held senior HR roles at Fortune 500 companies. She holds an MBA in Human Resources Management, a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science Management from the University of Houston, and multiple professional certifications, including the PHR designation from SHRM. A North Texas resident and longtime member of Antioch Church, Shay enjoys international travel, reading, volunteering, and time with family.
