Join us in observance of Black History Month, this February, as we explore the history of domestic violence within the African American community. Hear from Dr. Yamma Brown, author and daughter of James Brown, the Godfather of Soul.
We will hear from Dr. Yamma Brown, author of the book Cold Sweat: My Father James Brown and Me. The evening will begin with a reception and private book signing for our VIP guests, followed by a program featuring Dr. Yamma Brown, presented by Denton County Friends of the Family - Our Community Matters Program.
