2011 Entrepreneurs Boot Camp
This summer, the Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of North Texas will make the process of starting a business easier and more affordable for participants of its 2011 Entrepreneurs Boot Camp.
The boot camp is geared toward anyone who has been interested in opening a business, but hasn’t known where to start. Participants will work with UNT graduate business students to build their business plans, and will have the opportunity to present their plans to potential investors and business professionals. Beyond the knowledge and tools gained in Entrepreneurs Boot Camp, the program also serves to save money for participants, as traditional business plan building can cost thousands of dollars.
The boot camp is a joint effort between the Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship and UNT’s Center for Achievement and Lifelong Learning.

The Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship, housed in UNT's College of Business, opened its doors in 2000 with a $1 million donation from Ken and the late Shirley Murphy, founders and owners of The Mail Box. The center encourages entrepreneurship by providing students with counseling, mentoring and training opportunities that help them turn ideas into viable business entities.
