DESCRIPTION:On January 20\, 2012\, the staff at Mayhill Hospital invites the community to their Open House.  Mayhill has just completed a major remodel of the facility adding needed psychiatric beds.  Mayhill now has 59 patient beds which will help serve the increasing needs of those suffering from mental illness and chemical dependency. \n\n \n\nThe ribbon cutting at Mayhill will take place at 12:45 pm on January 20th.  Members of the community are welcome to attend the open house and ribbon cutting which will be held from 12pm-5pm.  Herschel Walker\, former Dallas Cowboy football player and Mental Health Advocate will be at the hospital to discuss the benefits of seeking treatment.\n\n \n\nMayhill Hospital joins its sister facility\, University Behavioral Health of Denton in being leaders in Psychiatric care with all evidence-based programs.  Mayhill's professional team of mental health experts offer programs in geriatric  and adult inpatient and outpatient psychiatry\, pain management and the Minirth Christian Program.
