Hallie's bone marrow fails to produce essential red blood cells and she is alive today because of steroids and regular blood transfusions. The only cure for DBA is a bone marrow transplant. With less than 800 children diagnosed with DBA research is largely funded through fundraising by parents\, family and friends.\n\n\n\nCome dressed up as your favorite superhero! \n\n\n\nAlso stop by the Delete Blood Cancer table and see how you too can be a superhero and save lives by joining the national bone marrow registry.\n\n\n\nSwabing will also be available on the square in Denton from 11am-6pm the day of the event.
