TAB Chief Jeff Moseley to address Denton Chamber

July 07, 2017

Former Denton County Judge and head of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development & Tourism, Jeff Moseley, will be the featured speaker during the chamber membership luncheon Friday, December 8 at the UNT Gateway Center.

Judge Moseley was recently named Chief Executive Officer of the Texas Association of Business (TAB), which is based in Austin.  TAB is structurally similar to a local chamber, but, primarily functions as an advocate of state-level business issues.

He has also headed the Greater Houston Partnership, a combined chamber of commerce and economic development organization, plus, served on the Texas Department of Transportation Commission.

The April membership luncheon served as the graduation of the 32nd class of Leadership Denton.  Ashley Wilson, from the U.S. Chamber, spoke on the process and potential for federal comprehensive tax reform during the June membership luncheon.

Medical City of Denton will serve as the sponsor.  Members will receive a brief update on current and future chamber initiatives, economic development projects and progress on the new convention center.  More details will be available as the luncheon date gets closer.
