The chamber board unanimously endorsed H.B. 2445, as authored by Representative Dr. Lynn Stucky, Texas House District 64, during its regular March 30, 2017 meeting. If adopted by the 85 th Texas Legislature, the bill will allow the City of Denton to use Hotel Occupancy Tax revenue for certain athletic facility improvements.
