Job Description
North Central Texas College is accepting applications for Scheduling Assistant:  Remote; Part-Time
The purpose of this position is to provide support for the scheduling and maintenance of year round academic offerings.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Administrative experience required with the ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy using complex systems of evaluation.
  • Experience working in an institution of higher education preferred.

  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a leader from distance
  • Must be computer literate
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Collecting course offerings from areas of instruction
  • Data input of schedule into a cohesive computerized system
  • Logistical maintenance of the schedule
  • Heavy communication with Deans and Division Chairs about course offerings
  • Wide vision of class room logistics as they apply to scheduling locations.
Subject to criminal background check.  Part time positions work no more than 19 hours per week.  Candidates must be able to self-govern major projects and may be allowed to complete major tasks from a location desirable for the candidate. Some travel is involved.  Resume and cover letter required in addition to application.
