Job Description
North Central Texas College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Welding Instructor:  Gainesville, Texas; Part-Time
Individual must have 8 years of experience in the welding industry. Candidate must work well in a team environment and communicate effectively in an instructional setting, be a self-starter, be willing to work with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $580 per semester hour. Travel may be required to various locations. May be subject to criminal background check. Resume and transcripts required in addition to application.
Associate Degree
Required Experience:
Three years’ welding experience in the industry including oxy-fuel welding and cutting, plasma cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux core arc welding, and gas tungsten arc welding.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in Oxy-fuel welding and cutting, plasma cutting, shielded metal are welding, Gas Metal arc welding, Flux core arc welding, Gas Tungsten arc welding, Blueprint reading, and basic welding math skills.
Additional Information:
Applicants will be required to demonstrate welding & teaching skills.
