Job Description
North Central Texas College is accepting applications for an ADJUNCT FACULTY – Horticulture-Plant Diseases:  Gainesville/Corinth; part-time
 
 
Summary:
Responsibilities include teaching a college course (lecture + lab) in plant diseases using a variety of instructional methods. Classes scheduled during the day or evenings depending on enrollment. Compensation is $580 per semester hour. Subject to criminal history check.
 
Education:
Associate Degree in Horticulture or related field. Bachelor Degree in related field preferred.
 
Experience:
At least three years work experience in the area of assigned instruction confirmed by letter(s) from employer(s) or Bachelor Degree in the discipline.
 
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Applicant must be prepared to demonstrate teaching style during interview process.
